We There Yet?

We spent Labor Day Weekend in Garrison, ND at Uncle Gene and Aunt JoAnn's house. They live really close to Lake Sakakawea, so of course Bob's plan was to spend most of his time fishing. Blake just recently started asking the question, "We there yet?" Just in time for a long road trip - YAY! She actually did pretty well. She only asked that question a few times on the way there and not at all on the way back. She wasn't really too excited to go home, though ;) Blake also got her first experience peeing on the side of the road. We got a TON of pics, so I'll just start in...

Here's Bob and Wyatt when we finally got to the house.
Bob's cousin, Pat, and two of his kids, Taylor & Jackson, also came to hang out for the weekend. Here's Blake playing with a talking parrot...Jackson's holding it up on her shoulder.
Blake bopping the parrot on the head, so it would talk.
All the kiddos playing with some toys on the floor.
On Saturday, Taylor and Jackson went out fishing with the guys for a little while. They came back with several frogs and a salamander. Here's Taylor showing Blake the bucket of frogs.

Uncle Gene helped Blake roast marshmallows. Blake kept calling Uncle Gene "Genie"...it was pretty cute.

We had tons of fun! Blake LOVED getting to play with Taylor and Jackson, and Bob got to go fishing for a good portion of the time. Hope everyone had a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!
