Pregnant Lauren

Well, there have been many requests for a picture of pregnant Lauren to be posted on the website, so here it is! This is Lauren at about 30 weeks. The next 10 probably can't come quick enough, but things are going really well so far. She has gotten rid of most of the sickness that came with the first five and a half months but is now finding that the weight gain increases faster when you don't puke up a couple meals a day.

The due date has been pushed back to August 14th now...it was the 4th. She wasn't too happy to hear that they added days to this big adventure, but she has two good friends that are currently pregnant as well. So, she is finding comfort in the ability to share stories/opinions/sympathy with them. We hope this finds everyone doing well!!!

The Die Hard Fisherman

We visited Culbertson and Lake Sakakawea (North Dakota) over the Memorial Day weekend. It was nice to get to visit with Grandma Gladys (DeCoteau), Robert (Bob's Dad), and Gene & JoAnn (uncle & aunt). The weather was not very cooperative, but the boys still braved the weather and went fishing for most of the morning. They ended up catching a pretty big Northern Pike that took off with the stringer. The biggest ones always get away :) They brought home another Northern as the prize for the day though. Bob even busted out his fashionable rain gear and posed for a picture.

More Fishing Pictures

Well, once again, we took the boat out to Cooney Resevoir May 10th. As you can see, the mountains actually got quite a bit of snow the night before, and we experienced quite a few snowflakes early in the morning. But, it did actually warm up enough in the afternoon to enjoy the day on the lake.
Bob finally caught a fish from the boat!!! And, luckily, it wasn't the only one he caught on this outing. He ended up bringing four trout home from the trip...a much better result than the maiden voyage.

The first fish to occupy the livewell on the boat. Unfortunately, it wasn't a walleye, but at least it was actually caught from the boat.
