THANKSGIVING!

We went to visit Aunt JoAnn and Uncle Gene in North Dakota for Thanksgiving. Grandpa DeCoteau, Great-Grandma DeCoteau, Aunt Joyce, and Pat (Bob's cousin) were all there. We had a great time visiting with family and we even got a few pictures...imagine that! Gene and JoAnn got Blake the cutest little hat & gloves sets. Here's JoAnn with our little diva in the leopard print and pink set.

And, here's Gene and Blake in her camoflaged and blaze orange set. This was obviously little Blake's first Thanksgiving, so Grandma & Grandpa Brune sent her a little outfit for her to wear...it's adorable!

Blake and her daddy on Thanksgiving.

Well, we figured we would try to post some pictures this weekend since we had the laptop along and happened to get internet access at the Burke's house. We'll surely have more pictures of the weekend, but this is what we have for now. Hopefully, everyone had as good of a turkey day as we did, and we are very thankful to have such wonderful family and friends!

Cute Pics

Here are some more pictures of Blake. These were all taken over the last week or so. Blake looks so cute in her little fleece sleepers...and she does LOVE her daddy.
She was sporting her OSU sleeper again the other weekend, so we got some pictures of her and her ducky...
...and a picture of her in her swing.
Blake just keeps on growing. She is unofficially 14 pounds; we weighed her on the scale at home. And, she is starting to move out of her 3 month outfits and into her 6 month ones. Here is one of her new big girl (6 mo.) outfits.

November Video

We finally caved in and got a new laptop today. So, Lauren was actually able to go through all of the film we have taken of Blake in the last couple weeks and put together another little highlight video. You'll have to excuse Lauren's commentary, though. Just focus on all of Blake's new little noises...even though Lauren's noises are pretty new as well :) Hope everyone has a great weekend...and a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Sunday Fun

Sunday was our day to hang out as a family, so here are some pictures from our day of lounging. Blake wanted to sit up in her Bumbo and read a book, so we obliged. She also needed a bath, so her daddy stripped her down and kept her entertained on the couch while Mom got the bath ready. And, here's our little stinker after her bath this evening. She just loves being naked...it's kinda scary.
Blake has been going to bed between 5 & 7, so we have some time in the evenings to make sure our other "babies" don't feel too mistreated with a new baby around. Bob decided to cuddle with both Copa and Maddie. Copa listens really well, so Bob's constant "stay" command kept her fairly still for the pictures.Maddie, on the other hand, was extremely jealous that Copa was getting so much attention, and she got pretty excited when we started talking to her. But, unlike Copa, she doesn't listen as well, so it was quite the rodeo when Bob tried to hold her for a picture.Sorry to post so many new pictures all at once, but that's the life with a new little one and being busy with work during the week. We do have some more video footage to post, but Lauren is having issues with the computer running a little slow with such big files, so she is working through the issues...and, HOPEFULLY, we'll get some of those clips posted by next weekend.

New Outfit

Suzi, one of Lauren's friends from college, got Blake this cute outfit! So, of course, it's just another opportunity to take pictures of our beautiful baby. Blake is becoming quite the thumb sucker. We try to keep a "binki" handy for her to suck on, but often times she just spits it out so she can insert her thumb...O WELL!

Blake's First Wyoming Visit

Lauren and Blake went to visit one of Lauren's college friends, Jess, in Worland, Wyoming. Jess just had a little boy, Beckett, on September 4th. So, Blake and Beckett got to hang out together while Lauren and Jess visited/sympathized with each other. Surely all who have had children know how nice it is to get the chance to vent to an understanding ear...THANKS, Jess!!! Natalie, Jess's 3 year old, kept referring to Blake as "Baby 2". It was hilarious! Jess, Lauren, Blake, and Beckett all went out to dinner Friday night...which Jess and Lauren found extremely exciting since both of their husband's travel quite a bit and always want to eat at home after long weeks of work. And, it was nice to chat with some of Jess's friends who they met at the restaurant. Otherwise, Jess was a vendor at a local craft fair (she makes the most beautiful jewelry). So, Blake and Lauren tagged along to watch her set up her booth Friday night after dinner. They also spent Saturday morning at the craft fair before heading back to Laurel that afternoon. Here's a picture of Blake and Beckett chillin' at the craft fair.

Hangin' with Dad

We're playing catch-up again here with some posts, so here's a picture from earlier this month. Blake loves hangin' out on Dad's shoulder. In this picture, she is getting ready for Daddy to give her a bottle. In other news, Suzi and Randy had a little girl on November 10th. Gracie Ella Smith and family are doing well the last we heard. Hope all is well with everyone!

October Highlight Video

We finally took the time to create an October highlight video. So, these are the cutest of the cute video clips featuring everything from new noises to new found fun in the "Bumbo" babysitter (green chair looking thing). Blake is now about three months old, and she is just starting to pass up some of her smaller 0-3 mo. clothes. Most of her Carter's 3 mo. clothes still fit okay, but it's just amazing how big she is getting. We've also moved into a bigger size of diaper (well...once we finish what's left of the size 1's). Otherwise, we are all doing very well, and we can't wait to see those of you that we will be visiting with over the holiday season!

Happy Halloween!!!

Well, it's a little late, but HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Here are some pictures of our little chili pepper. Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Chris, and Aunt Katie got Blake a chili pepper costume for Halloween. She was a little tired when we dressed her up, but she was still a little cutie. We didn't really do anything exciting. Lauren was really tired from a rough week at work. So, for once, Bob stocked up on the candy and passed it out to all the trick or treaters while Lauren just lounged.

Puppy Picture

I was going through some old files, and I found this picture of Tippy and Copa. Copa was just a little pup at the time. She was so precious. It's amazing how fast even the four-legged family members grow. I couldn't resist; I had to post this picture...it is just too cute!

Bumbo

Well, we busted out the "Bumbo" for Blake the other weekend. She really likes to sit up and watch the world around her. I have a couple vidoes of this too, so I might try to post that later. She was all dressed up for gameday again last weekend when we took these pictures. One of the lumber yards that Bob calls on gave him an OSU bottle cozie that looks like a football jersey, so he thought it would be funny to cover up the OU onsie. Yes, Chris, I think your Official Unofficial Oklahoma State University Fan Club letter bought you a fan in Montana. Bob also thought it would be funny to put Blake's "ducky blanket" on her head for a picture, too. She thought it was the best thing ever. She just thinks her daddy is hilarious!

Bathtime & Flying

Here are some more pictures from our visit to Oklahoma. Blake sure enjoyed her bathtime in Grandma & Grandpa's kitchen sink. Also, on our flight back to Billings we were lucky enough to get a whole row of three seats to ourselves on the plane. So, I was able to get a picture of Blake relaxing on her flight back home. Her little camo booties hide in her camoflaged carrier...she's already Daddy's little girl.

More Oklahoma Pics

We had a great time visiting everyone in Oklahoma. We've been really busy the last couple weeks, so here are some more pictures that should have been posted quite a while ago. Blake sure enjoyed her time hanging out with Grandpa.
