4 Month Stats

If you haven't heard on the news, it has been raining here CONSTANTLY the last couple weeks (it's still raining right now). We have had the wettest Spring since records have been kept, and there is/was a lot of flooding in the Billings area and across the state. I-90 was closed in sections as well as many other major roadways. Good news is that it's still about 10 degrees below our average temps for this time of year, so the large amount of snow we got this year has not started to melt off in the higher elevations. The bad news is that the snow melt hasn't started, so we can expect a lot more water whenever it does finally warm up. Let's just hope there's enough of a break between the rain stopping and temperatures warming up to help all those who are being affected by this crazy weather! We are fine, and it looks like our property will also be fine even if some of the worst scenarios play out since we seem to be high enough and far enough away from the water. Now that being said, Blake wanted to play trains the other day. So, Lauren helped her build a nice big track to run the trains on. Well after not even a few minutes of play, Blake told Lauren that it was too rainy and the tracks were too wet for the trains. So, we moved on to a different activity ;)
Our big dude is just getting bigger and bigger every day. He seems to enjoy his time in the bouncy activity center.
Sorry, the next three pics were taken off of Lauren's phone, so they aren't really the greatest quality. As Blake would say, "Wyatt ready go churchin'".
Wyatt had his four month well baby check last week. Our chub-a-bub weighs 18 lbs. 1 oz. (93rd percentile) and is only 24 3/4" long (40th percentile). He is definitely a stocky little guy! His noggin was in the 55th percentile. He got his vaccinations and left with a clean bill of health - just a healthy chunkers.
Now for Blake, she is doing well and has as much of an attitude as normal. She's been watching a lot of movies since we've pretty much been stuck inside for weeks now, so she can recite quite a few lines from Tangled, the Toy Story movies and The Emperor's New Groove. It's been tough for Blake having to be in such close quarters with her mom constantly. Lauren gets these looks all the time...
...since when do two year olds have the right to act like thirteen year olds?! ;) At least she has the dogs to confide in. Hope everyone is staying dry and maybe even enjoying summer. We can't wait to actually get some summer weather. Hope you had a happy Memorial Day weekend!!!
