Naughty Blakeanese

Get ready for a long post. We've taken quite a few pics and have a few stories to share. First off (as we've mentioned before), Blake talks A LOT! It's rare for her to be silent, and she talks pretty well. There are, however, a few words that always get us nasty looks in public. Here are some examples:

Cartoon Titles
Go, Diego, Go = Go, Eggo, Go (more funny than anything)
Pinky Dinky Doo = Stinky Doo
Franklin = Spankin

Other seemingly naughty/funny words
binoculars = knockers
bridges = bitches
Crocs (or any sandal type shoe) = cocks

There is an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse where Mickey is looking at bridges through his binoculars trying to find a glass bridge. Blake likes to act things out, so here's her version. "Play my knockers, momma...see bitches in knockers". That's Blakeanese for "I'm playing with my binoculars, momma...I see bridges in my binoculars." Lauren just about lost it when that one came out - definitely one for the baby book. Two other much nicer sounding words that she's recently started using are delicious and fantastic. Now to some pics...

...Wyatt cuddling with Daddy
Wyatt LOVES to be bundled up to sleep, and he even likes blankets to be covering his head. This, of course, is very scary considering all the SIDS talk that they run you through at the hospital on how not to put ANYTHING in the crib with sleeping babes. I don't think Wyatt is going to let us follow any of those rules if we want him to get decent sleep. Here's a pic of him just after waking up from a long nap.
Wyatt seems to be a blue-eyed little man for now and sometimes they even look greenish.

Wyatt got the cutest quilt in the mail today - THANKS, Lynn!!! Blake was impressed with the quilt, but she was just as impressed with the packing bubbles that were in the package. She had a blast popping bubbles on the quilt.

Precious little boy
We've been laughing since Wyatt was born because he would flip Lauren off everytime he fed. Even though he's on the bottle now, he still flips you off when you feed him - too funny!
We've done a pretty good job adjusting to having two kiddos around that are both pretty needy right at the moment. Wyatt is newborn baby needy, and Blake is I-have-a-new-baby-brother needy. Most days have been more good than bad, but you know it's been a rough day when this is how Blake greets Bob home from work.
Otherwise, things here are going really well. We're not supposed to be above 35 degrees for another week, so Lauren is about to go insane being inside with two kids and two dogs. We're surviving, though ;) Blake ran a quick temp last week and ended up with a really runny nose, and she was nice enough to share it with Wyatt. So, we have two snot-nosed kiddos but it hasn't been too bad other than that. Hope all those more south are enjoying some awesome weather (in my opionion anyway).
