Here's Blake and her Dolly again. You'll start to see a trend with her "serious" face in the following pictures.

Blake got her 6 month vaccinations last Friday, and she even got a flu shot. I guess the flu has just started up in our area...so the doctor said anyway. Our poor girl has a little bruise and a hard spot on her right leg from the injections. It doesn't seem to bother her, and the nurse (we called today) said not to worry too much. But, she said we should make sure it doesn't get any bigger, look irritated (aside from the bruise) or feel feverish...which it hasn't. This is probably just the beginning of many worries to come. And, as you can see, she is a healthy little girl. She is weighing in at 17 pounds 2 ounces already and is only 25 1/2 inches long. She is a cute little chunkers, though.

And, finally, here is more of our serious little kiddo sporting her Cat in the Hat onsie.

Blake is also starting to move on to more wonderful solid foods...well, vegetables for now. So, that's probably not too exciting for her. She tried sweet peas for the first time yesterday, and she wasn't very impressed. She actually took close to a dozen pretty decent little bites, and then she decided that it wasn't really worth it anymore refusing to open her mouth like she usually does when she's eating. It's usually hard to have the next spoonful ready by the time she's opening her mouth for more. So, we'll try more peas again tomorrow and then probably move on to something orange. We've heard the orange veggies are easier to get down than most of the greens, but who knows. Lauren was always a big green bean fan, so maybe that'll be a hit. Hope all is well with everyone!

She looks like a Brune too!
Not to worry about the serious face. Calyn was a very serious baby too. Now she's hilarious and always smiling. Just like you said, she's just taking it all in!
Just wait until she gets a mouthful of something & decided to sneeze. That's always fun. Max did that to me just the other day.
