Green Bear Day

We got back from Oklahoma on the 31st of December and have been pretty low key since.  When we were going through all of the mail from when we were gone, we found a card from one of Bob's cousins (who actually has a daughter that was born the same day as Blake).  She had sent some pics of her kids, but much to our surprise she had also sent some of Bob when he was little.  I think I see a little Wyatt in this old pic...how about you?!
Just a cute pic of Wyatt playing
Blake has a summer birthday, so she got to celebrate her half birthday (or in this case a month before her half birthday) at preschool.  What did she choose for her special treat?!  Chex mix!!!  Like mother, like daughter :)  We filled Toy Story cups with chex mix and attached the army parachute men that she picked out.
When Blake got home from preschool today, she kept telling Lauren, "Mrs. Pettis say, 'green bear day'."  Finally Lauren asked Blake, "Are you sure she wasn't saying 'green verde'?"  Blake looked at Lauren like she was stupid and insisted, "No, Mom. Green. Bear. Day."  So, either Lauren is right and Mrs. Pettis was teaching a little Spanish or (like Grampy suggested) there is some weird wildlife holiday that is celebrated this day in Montana.  Heck, let's just name January 5th national Green Bear Day ;)
Not to be outdone for the day, our little Wyatt decided to make out with one of Blake's baby dolls ;)  It was actually kinda cute, in Mom's opinion anyway - he was giving a baby kisses.  By the time Lauren got in a good position to take a pic, this is all we got.
When Blake finally figured out what we were laughing about, she got really upset because she thought Wyatt was trying to eat her baby.  In her defense, Wyatt does pretty much eat whatever you put in front of him.  He was shoving grass and leaves in his mouth this morning when we were playing outside :)
