Cryins, BOO & Rollin'

We have a few more Blake stories to share. First of all, Blake sometimes makes a big scene and cries at the littlest things. Lauren usually calls her on it, and tells her that she needs to stop crying and tell Mom what's wrong. Blake's usual response is now, "I gotta wipe my cryins (as she wipes her eyes) cuz mine happy, Mom". It's amazing how quickly their moods can change. Another Blake story from a couple weeks ago: Lauren was driving and Blake and Wyatt were in their car seats in the back seat. Blake is right next to Wyatt, who is in the center seat and rear facing. Blake is forward facing, so she can see what he's doing. It was really quiet for a while then all of a sudden Lauren hears Blake scream, "BOO!" followed by hysterical laughter. Then she said (still laughing hysterically), "Mom, I scare Wyatt...mine wake him up!" Here's a picture of our little, nakey witch ;)
We finally got a chance to setup our little pool on Sunday. Poor Wyatt was all dressed up and ready for action, but the water was just too cold for our little guy :(
Mr. Man is getting pretty good at sitting up by himself and rolling over. Here's our chub-a-bub sitting up like a big boy.
It's a good thing we enjoyed the pool on Sunday & Monday becuase Monday night brought tornados, strong winds, hail, rain and thunderstorms to our area.
We didn't have it too bad at our house. There were two tornados that touched down about 9 miles outside of town, but we didn't even get any rain with that first batch. We did, however, get a pretty good thunderstorm around 1 o'clock this morning. Lucky for Lauren, both kids slept through it. Copa was the only one that needed to be cuddled...sometimes dogs are worse than kids! Otherwise, things are going alright here. Looks like another five days of rain and temps in the 60's - YUCK!!! Hope everyone is staying safe with all this crazy weather.
