Scratches & Coughs

Well, it's a good thing we had such a fantastic week last week because the weekend was not so spectacular...for Blake anyway. First off, Blake was running around in her diaper while Lauren was putting clothes in the dryer. As usual, she just HAD to help. In the process of helping, she somehow lost her balance and fell across the corner of the open dryer door (front loading dryer). Here is the result:

Saturday morning Lauren got up early with Blake and could tell that her voice sounded a little funny. Lauren went skiing with some friends while Bob watched our little kiddo. Skiing was GREAT!!! But, Lauren came home to a very, very, sick little girl. Blake had pretty much lost her voice by Sunday evening, and she had a horrible cough. She seems to be getting a little better today, so we may not have to make a trip to the doc on this one...keeping our fingers crossed. Needless to say, Blake hasn't been up to much except watching movies and napping. She's finally started to show interest in food again today, so that's good. Anyway, here's a pic of Blake on her fold out couch sucking her thumb and watching Cars (of course).
