It has been quite a while since we last posted, but there really hasn't been too much excitement in our world. Here's a picture of Blake sporting her first pair of Nike shoes. Of course, Uncle Chris and Aunt Katie got them for her for Christmas. 
Lauren got to spend this whole past week at home with Blake, so it was nice to actually get things cleaned up around the house. And, Blake even got her first shot at rice cereal. She actally did really well and has continued to have one little meal a day this week. We do have some video footage of it, so we'll get that posted as soon as we can edit it. Surely no one (with the exception of Grandma) wants to wade through the 15+ minutes of video online. So, here's a picture for now.
Lauren did have time to go through and edit some video of Blake singing?! We can't really call it a scream because that makes it sound like she is unhappy...you'll just have to listen. Beware if your volume is turned up too high, though. It gets pretty high pitched.
Otherwise, Lauren got the chance to meet her good friend from college, Jess, and her two children, Natalie & Beckett, this week for a quick lunch date when they came into Billings for a doctor's appointment. It was great to get to hang out even if it was only for a little bit. And, Lauren had plans to visit another friend, Suzi, and her two little girls, Claire & Gracie, today; but poor Gracie (2 months old) had to head in to see the doctor. She just hasn't been feeling well, so we sure hope she gets to feeling better soon. That's it for now. We'll post some more video sometime today or this weekend.
