Little Man's Two Month Stats

We have several pics and a few stories from the past couple weeks. Here's Blake cuddling her "nice puppy". Wyatt had his two month checkup last week. He weighs in at 12 pounds 2 ounces (the 50th percentile) and is 22 3/8" long (25th percentile). His noggin is also in the 50th percentile. He was quite the trooper and really didn't fuss too much with the shots. Here's our chub-a-bub showing off his band aids. As you can see, Wyatt is getting pretty big these days. Here he is hanging out in his jammies. Blake posing with her blanky Blake and Wyatt got to hang out with Dad most of the day on Saturday while Lauren ran to Columbus to visit Suzi, Randy, Claire, Gracie and their new little boy, Tyce. Here's a pic of Blake and Dad playing trains. And here they are playing letters ;) Blake decided that Wyatt wanted to "play tea cups" with her the other day. So, here are the two goof balls having a tea party. Wyatt started to get a little fussy and Blake was getting frustrated with him, so she dumped the tea all over him ;) It was hilarious! So glad we caught that one with the camera. But, I guess it's a good thing there wasn't really any tea in there. Blake pouring Mom a cup of tea. That same morning when Lauren was doing Blake's hair, Lauren asked Blake, "do you want a clip in your hair or do you want to wear it plain?" Blake responded, "plane...go get on plane and go see daddy at work." We don't have to fly to visit daddy at work, but I guess she has done her fair share of travelling in her lifetime. Wyatt, on the other hand, still just hangs out most days. We may have another little thumb sucker on our hands. Wyatt has recently been sucking on his hand, and he occasionally finds his thumb too. Blake likes to hold her baby brother, so I finally took a picture of her holding him. After taking the pic Lauren said, "Blake, you're a ham!" Blake said, "No, I not ham. Ham in my book." She likes us to read her Green Eggs and Ham.
We also had some visitors over the last couple weeks. Jess & Kyle stopped by to hang out for a bit and say hi, and Vickie & Travis brought pizza over for lunch and hung out with us before running some errands in Billings. It was so nice to get to see everyone. Jess also brought Natalie, Beckett and Abby (mini schnauzer) by yesterday to play for an hour after dropping off their grandma at the airport in Billings. Blake seems to enjoy other animals and adults better than other kiddos. All she could talk about was how Vickie and Travis were going to go to the grocery store and how Abby wasn't going to get her. Maybe someday she'll be more social with kids closer to her own age. Hope you enjoyed the pics!

Reality Check

We just got back yesterday from a great visit to Oklahoma - see the next five posts that cover all our Oklahoma fun. As always, we sort of have a reality check with Blake when we get back, and now Wyatt gets to experience this as well. First off, the flights home were not as smooth as the two heading out. Wyatt screamed at the beginning and end of both flights and Blake was having issues listening to Mom. At the very end of the last flight, Wyatt decided to spit up all over the front of Lauren. While driving home, Wyatt screamed the entire way to the house. Lauren later found that he had a major blow out in his diaper that even went up his back! Blake did alright until we pulled off of the interstate. She started scraming at Lauren, "I no wanna go to your house...I wanna go Grandma Grampy's house!" Ah...the joys of travelling with the wee ones :) Blake again requested this morning (several times) to go to Grandma & Grampy's house, but she finally gave up on asking (for today anyway). Instead, she decided to go through the unpacked bags and get her headphones and iPod...probably just to tune out Mom.
Wyatt sporting some 6 month jammies. He's a growing little boy. In fact, he wore a sleeper one of the first nights we were in Oklahoma that fit fine. By the time we left, that same sleeper was too little for him!
Another part of the reality check of coming home is that our temperatures are a good 40 degrees cooler right now than at Grandma & Grampy's. Blake does seem to understand this, though. While flying home, Lauren told Blake that we could go for walks at home, too (going for walks is a favorite at Grandma & Grampy's). Blake responded, "go walk in snow?!" She was right. Here's just a taste of the snow that we got today.
Wyatt still likes to nap with something covering his face. Here's our weird child napping on the couch today. Can you see where the baby is?!
Sorry to slam everyone with six posts in one day. This one and the following five posts are all new. Hope you enjoy all the pics!

Churchin' & Swimmin'

Lauren started taking the kids to church about a month ago. Both kids have done pretty well so far. Blake is especially proud of herself for being quiet during church. After her first time going, Blake told Lauren afterwards that she "yikes go churchin" and wanted to know if she could "go Grandma Grampy's churchin". Well, she got her wish while we were in Oklahoma. Since everyone was dressed up for church, we decided to try to get some good pics. Here's Grampy trying to talk Blake into posing for some pics.

It got up into the 80's on Sunday, so the girls got to play in the swimming pool. Blake kept calling it the "swimming cool"...whatever works.

So sorry if we missed anyone on our visit, and it was so great to see everyone that we did. It's always so hard to make the rounds on our seemingly short visits. Hope all is well with everyone.

Red Gooey Fish

The weather was really nice while we were in Ponca. Well, it was nice to those of us who came from Montana anyway. Blake was LOVING getting to go outside so much. She really hated to go back inside even to eat, but we managed to keep her from sleeping outside ;) Here's Blake hanging out with her St. Patty's Day shades on.
Collier just looking cute
Blake on a mission - notice the pink Hello Kitty band aid on her arm. She had gotten some with her bag 'o St. Patty's Day goodies and just had to wear one.
Blake scouting out the neighborhood with her "knockers". Collier started calling them "knocks", so maybe that will rub off on Blake. That's a little less embarassing in public.
Ready for a ride - the girls were constantly asking to go for walks in the wagon.

Fishing! Blake loves to pretend to go fishing, so when she found some sticks in the back yard she decided that her Grampy and Collier needed to go fishing. In case you were wondering, they were catching "red gooey fish" (it's from a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode). Grampy then gave them red gooey fish (AKA Cheetos) in a bowl to eat. So, anytime Blake wanted Cheetos she'd ask for red gooey fish.

St. Patty's Day

Uncle Chris, Aunt Katie and Collier all came to visit us while we were in Ponca. They happened to be around on St. Patty's Day, so we made sure all the kiddos were dressed in green. Collier seemed to enjoy having Wyatt around as she was constantly (and enthusiastically) pointing and saying, "baby!" Here's a picture of Collier holding Wyatt.
This was about the best picture we could get of these three active little kiddos. Blake kept wanting to see the picture on the camera and Collier kept playing with the baby. Poor Wyatt was cross-eyed most of the photo shoot.
Blake and Collier got along pretty well. They even shared a bowl of popcorn while taking in some cartoons.
Collier playing with the baby and yet another cross-eyed pic of our little man.

Sorry there are so many posts, but we took A LOT of pictures!
