Mr. Man playing in the front yard. Leaves are pretty exciting stuff!
We've had a few pretty chilly days around here. Here's Wyatt all bundled up ready to take Blake to preschool.
And here's Blake swinging in the backyard in 21 degree weather...just a little chilly.
Wyatt is finally to the point where he cannot (or maybe should not is a better choice of words) be left alone. He can bear crawl with the best of them and is constantly getting into things. He can't even sit still before he gets in the bath!
Our happy little man now has three bottom teeth and two top teeth. He also has three more teeth that look like they could push through any minute. He's been putting those teeth to good use, too. Like Blake, Wyatt seems to eat anything. He ditched the baby food a while ago, and here's a list of some of the foods he's conquered since: toast, spaghetti, chicken enchiladas, pizza, fish sticks, chicken pot pie and of course several steamed/boiled/baked veggies. Here's a good look at our goofy guy and some of his teeth.
It's a good thing that we use cloth diapers for the most part. Wyatt's rear end and thighs are so big that he now has to wear a size 6 diaper! When it was just Blake, we always wondered why they even made size 6's because we never used bigger than a 5 with her. Now, we know. The Happy Heiny cloth diapers have been a life saver because they are actually wide enough to cover him well and he has less leaks with them. Part of the leaking problem with the disposables is probably because the 5's weren't covering him very well at all. Hopefully, his rear doesn't get any larger because there aren't any dipes above a size 6 that we know of...although a friend jokingly suggested Depends - HILARIOUS!!! Here's Wyatt playing on Blake's bed showing off one of his stylish cloth dipes.
Our little chub-a-bub chillin' with pants unbuttoned and playing with a spatula.
Wyatt will be 10 months old tomorrow! My, how time flies?! It's so funny though. It doesn't seem as big of a shock as it was with Blake. Maybe it's because he's the size of a toddler, so even we often forget he's only 10 months old. You should see the looks Lauren gets whenever she has to feed him a bottle in public. People are looking at her like she's crazy to still be bottle feeding our toddler ;) Wyatt's working on his standing alone skills, but he still hasn't learned to fall on his bottom. He falls backward stiff as a board...ouch!!! Surely he'll figure that one out soon enough...hopefully!
Hope all is well with everyone! We're getting geared up for a busy end-of-year with Thanksgiving and Christmas. It always seems to pass in the blink of an eye.
