Last Minute Flight

Lauren & Blake were able to catch a flight south to see Grandma & Gramps last weekend. We weren't really planning on it, but it just seemed to work out...so why not?! We were so glad to visit with everyone from Ponca and Chris & Katie (and Todd & Scott) but were sad that we couldn't really give much of a heads-up. For those of you that we missed, SORRY! It is a whole different ball game traveling with a little one, and we didn't really get to make the rounds around town that we would have liked. Hopefully, the next visit will be a little bit longer and planned a little further in advance. Here are some cute pics from the weekend. Amber & Gracie got to come over and visit. Gracie is going to be such a good big sister! She was great with Blake.Blake had her own little play area that Grandma fixed up in front of the fireplace.Grandma even got all of Lauren's old stuffed animals out for our little stinker. Blake really liked the Tickle Me Cookie Monster doll...like mother, like daughter. It was a lot nicer in Oklahoma than it has been around here, so Blake got to show off some of her new clothes that Grandma & Gramps got her. And, Blake got plenty of kisses from Grandma. You don't know how difficult it was to get these three to look at the camera at the same time!FUN IN THE SUN! She seemed to really like her very first ball cap.Blake thought Gramps was tons of fun!Blake and GrandmaAnd, MORE of Blake and Grandma.
Bath time at Grandma & Gramps's. Blake LOVED the bath toys that Don & Tudy got her...THANKS!Hope everyone is doing well! We have had a very hectic last couple weeks, so it's nice to just hang out around the house this weekend. It'll be much better when all this snow/rain is gone, though.

Mini Chris (a.k.a Blake) is so dang cute! Sounds like we missed seeing you all by a week. We were in Ponca this past weekend. I am hoping to update the blog tonight with some pics. Glad you had a good spontaneous trip!

So sorry to hear your parents aren't interested in spoiling their granddaughter...HA HA HA! It's definitely the same with my mom when we go to Oregon...the Shrine O' Natalie still stands in her house. Anyway, I really want to come up for a day or so sometime soon. I need to get the kids some summer clothes...and eat at the Mustard Seed! I'll call you soon. Love, Jess
